Unique and creative workout programs are custom designed every month to keep you inspired and motivated. The workouts have built in progressions so you will notice your strength and flexibility improve throughout the month. Before a new program begins, your body composition will be measured again, and new short-term goals will be set. Rory has experience working with a wide-range of clients, and is committed to designing unique programs that you will enjoy! He has experience designing workouts targeting weight loss, strength and endurance, pre and post-natal, senior fitness, stress-relief, injury rehabilitation, and sports-specific clients (basketball, lacrosse).
About the consultation:
The initial 60-minute consultation is an opportunity for you to get to know him, his personal training style, and the Body Mechanix gym space. The two of you will discuss your goals, current level of fitness, nutrition and lifestyle preferences. Next, he will measure your body composition (weight, body fat, etc.) and watch you perform a variety of simple movements to better understand your physical strengths and weaknesses. If time permits, he will show you some foam rolling, stretching and basic exercise techniques.
